Thank you for everyone who came to our infosession! Our board members truly enjoyed meeting each and every one of you. For those who couldn't come, here is a brief overview of what we talked about:
We delved into AIWA's history, which initially began as a sorority but has since evolved into a vibrant social club.
AIWA is dedicated to organizing philanthropy events to support causes across the MENA region. We also host social events, offering AIWA members opportunities to connect and build friendships. Additionally, we arrange networking events, allowing our members to meet AIWA alumni and professionals from diverse fields as an opportunity to network.
Our aim is to welcome dedicated individuals who share a passion for AIWA. We aspire for the club's legacy to live on, passed down through generations of AIWA girls who are committed to nurturing a supportive environment for Arab girls at UCLA.
We plan to establish various committees, including the formal committee, financial committee, retreat committee, and networking committee, led by our board members. These committees offer an excellent chance to become more involved with AIWA, contribute to event planning, and, most importantly, have your voices and ideas heard!
You can find the tentative schedule for the Fall quarter on our website and AIWA's Instagram.
